مهران زند، مردی ۳۲ ساله اهل صباشهر شهریار در استان تهران، در تاریخ ۱۹ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات شهریار کشته شد. او هدف گلوله مأموران جمهوری اسلامی قرار گرفت؛ مأموران ابتدا او را مجروح کرده و سپس با تیر خلاص به گلوی او وی را به قتل رساندند. مهران که متولد اول آبان ۱۳۷۲ بود، قصد داشت پس از تعطیلات نوروز همراه خانوادهاش به خواستگاری دختری که دوستش داشت برود و زندگی جدیدی را آغاز کند. زندگی او در سن ۳۲ سالگی به شکلی غمانگیز پایان یافت.
